What this does and doesn’t tell you

  • A match means registered, not vouched for. It confirms the person is on DLD’s broker register, and the line under their name says what DLD’s licence file shows about their licence period. It says nothing about whether they are good at the job or honest in a particular deal.
  • No match is worth a question, not an accusation. People change firms, spellings differ, and a register snapshot can lag a new licence. Ask for the licence number directly and search that — it is exact.
  • We show identity only. The register also publishes brokers’ phone numbers and web addresses. This checker never shows them, because that would make it a directory for cold-callers rather than a check for buyers. We do hold what the register publishes. We use a broker’s published email address to introduce them to someone who asked Keyva for an introduction, and we have written to some brokers about Keyva itself. Every such message says where the address came from and carries an unsubscribe link.
