Agent & Agency Agreement

You represent that you hold every real estate brokerage licence or registration required by UAE and Dubai law — including registration on the Real Estate Brokers Register under Bylaw No. 85 of 2006 — for the activity you carry on through the Platform, and that you will keep it current and tell us within seven days if it lapses.

Where you give a licence number, Keyva checks it against the Land Department's published broker register and shows the name and brokerage that number is registered to, beside your own. That check confirms the number exists in the register. It cannot confirm that you are the person it belongs to, and it is not a representation by Keyva that you are licensed, competent, or suitable. Readers are told to compare the two names themselves.

If you reach Keyva through an introduction email, your account is linked to the licence number Keyva matched, by name and brokerage, to the entry on DLD's register that publishes the address we wrote to. That link shows you can receive email at that address. It is not a representation by Keyva that you are licensed, competent or suitable, and "Verified on Keyva" means only that you claimed your account this way.

A person looking to rent or buy asks Keyva to introduce them to agents and agrees, in words Keyva keeps, to share their search. Keyva chooses which agents to introduce, up to three for each request, one at a time. No agent can request a person, and no request is sent to every agent.

You see the search — budget, preferred areas, property type, bedrooms, purpose and timeline — and the registered figures Keyva adds. You do not see the person's name, email address or phone number. You answer through the Platform, by responding with a message or passing with a reason. The person sees your name, brokerage, licence details and your message.

The person's first name, and only the contact details they choose, are shared with you if they reply to you, and with no other agent. You agree to use them solely to help that person with that search — not to add them to marketing lists, sell or share their data, or contact them through any channel they did not share.

If the person withdraws their request or erases their account, your access ends at once. You must then not use anything you received about them, including anything you copied.

Keyva does not guarantee any number, quality or outcome of introductions.

Information you add to your public profile (experience, specialties, deals closed, languages, availability) is self-reported. You're responsible for its accuracy. Self-reported figures like deals closed are labeled as such and are not independently verified by Keyva.

Response figures on your profile are counted from your answers on the Platform and are shown only once there are enough of them to mean something.

Keyva may charge agents a flat site service charge for using the Platform to receive and answer introductions. It is a fee for the use of the site. It is not a commission, not a share of any commission, rent or sale price, not a success fee, and it is never tied to whether any viewing, sale or let happens.

The charge arises only when you respond to an introduction through the Platform. Passing, or not answering, carries no charge. The amount, and whether a free allowance still applies, is shown on the page where you respond before you respond. The amount recorded for a response is the one that applied when you responded, and a later change never alters it.

Keyva does not represent you or the person introduced, does not negotiate for either of you, and takes no part in any transaction between you. Nothing is collected through the Platform. Any amount due is collected by Keyva separately, and your agent dashboard shows the introductions you received, the ones you answered and what is due.

Misrepresenting your identity, licence status or affiliation; contacting a person introduced to you by any route other than the Platform before they reply to you, or through a channel they did not share; using a search you received for anything other than answering that introduction; attempting to circumvent the consent-based introduction system; harassing a person who has not replied to you or has withdrawn their request; posting false or misleading claims on your public profile.

We may suspend or revoke Agent status, or stop introducing you, for violation of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or applicable law, with or without notice depending on severity.

You are solely responsible for any transaction, advice, or representation you make to a person introduced to you. Fikra Ventures FZE LLC, a Free Zone Entity incorporated under Amiri Decree No. 15 of 2023 at Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, holding trade license/registration number 2629617609888, with its registered address at Office BC-892072, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Sheikh Khalifa Street, P.O. Box 4848, Ajman, United Arab Emirates is a technology platform that introduces agents to people who asked to be introduced, and is not a party to, and accepts no liability for, any transaction between you.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, consistent with the Terms of Service.
