What a transaction is, here

A transaction here is a registration filed under Sales, for an apartment, villa or townhouse, after our price and size checks; lease-to-own registrations are filed there too. The record carries the area, the type of home, its size, the price and the date the sale was registered. It holds no buyer or seller identity. The date is the day the sale was registered, not the day the contract was signed. Records reach the file after registration, in batches, so the newest days of any week are incomplete and grow with the next load. For the quarter written up, see the market report; for year by year, price history; for how every figure is made, where the numbers come from.

Questions

What is a DLD transaction?
A DLD transaction is a registration the Dubai Land Department (DLD) holds a record of: a sale, a mortgage, a gift. This page counts only the transactions filed under Sales for apartments, villas and townhouses, after our price and size checks. Lease-to-own registrations are filed under Sales as well, so they are in the count.
Do the records name the buyer or the seller?
No. The sale records we read carry the area, the type of home, its size, the price and the registration date. They hold no buyer or seller identity, and neither does this page.
Can the counts for these days still change?
Yes, for any of the 7 days. Records reach the file after registration, in batches, and a late filing can carry an earlier date, so every day in the table can still grow.
Is this the Land Department's own page?
No. Keyva is independent. It reads the Land Department's published records and names the Land Department as their publisher.
